Duffy's Well, Well, Well

With a quiet unique voice, Duffy captures your emotions in this song. Her voice reminds me of the 1960's for some reason. This song has something special about it, and I think that most of us can relate to it if you have ever fallen in this thing called LOVE. I think this song deservers a 10/10 with a standing ovation.

Review: The Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit)

Was in a club a few days ago and heard this song. And let me tell you one thing, ORGASMIC! I feel that this song was made to be played in clubs! Everyone was going crazy and dancing their ass off. I like how the song starts calmly and then escalades into to this electro-dancing fiesta. A great song from the Black Eyed Peas, Kudos to them. Make sure you request this song in your local club!

Hear it on youtube

Cheers.

Ke$ha's new album Cannibal. I don't think so!

So today I went out and decided to buy Ke$ha's album Cannibal. Pop artist Ke$ha released this album on the 19th of November. Now, i wouldn't really call this an album, it's more like a follow up to her previous album Animal, or you can say an extended play. It contains a total of 9 tracks. It's pretty the same style as her Animal album, songs about partying and fooling around. To party and fool around is great, but repeatedly singing about it will eventually get people bored! Some of the songs in this album had nearly the same beats as the previous one. To be honest, I didn't expect a lot from Ke$ha because this is her style of singing, but she has to prove to the world that she can sing inorder to gain more popularity. Trust me, most of the people around view Ke$ha as white trash, and this is mainly because of the way she represents herself, and not to mention the way she abuses autotune!

Here are the tracks, you can click on them to hear the songs on youtube:

1. Cannibal
2. We R who We R
3. Sleazy
4. Blow
5. The Harold Song
6. Crazy Beautiful Life
7. Grow a Pear
8. C U Next Tuesday
9. Animal (Billboard Remix)

(Just a side note, I do not own any of these materials in these links, its all copyrighted material)

I would have to say that the only song that got stuck in my mind would be Cannibal. Its catchy, its nice but thats all. I think Ke$ha has to try something new and ditch the autotune for a while and prove to us that she CAN sing. I would have to give it a 4/10.

Maroon5 - Hands all Over album. Hands all over indeed.

I was feeling so lazy today that i didn't think i was going to do a review (i think it's the weather! Too cold). But then i thought to myself, what the hell, Maroon5 deserve a decent review! The Pop band released their album on the 15th of September, and l made sure i got my hands all over their album. I have to admit it, im a Maroon5 die hard fan, but i'll try not to take sides on this review to be as fair as possible.

The standard version of the album contains 12 songs. The Deluxe edition contains 19 songs. As i mentioned earlier, since im a Maroon5 fan then you would've probably guessed that i bought the Deluxe version. Here is a list of the songs:

1. Misery
2. Give a Little More
3. Stutter
4. Don't Know Nothing
5. Never Gonna Leave This Bed
6. I Can't Lie
7. Hands All Over
8. How
9. Get Back in My Life
10. Just a Feeling
11. Runaway
12. Out of Goodbyes ft. Lady Antebellum
13. Last Chance
14. No Curtain Call
15. Never Gonna Leave This Bed (acoustic version)
16. Misery (acoustic version)
17. If I Ain't Got You (Live) (Alicia Keys)
18. The Air That I Breathe
19. Last Chance (Live)

Now lets get a bit serious. The album has many great songs; however, some of these songs don't have that WOW factor. What i mean is that, you won't come to like some of these songs unless u hear them over and over and get used to them. As a Maroon5 fan, i was a bit disappointed with the quality of some songs, but nonetheless i enjoyed my over all album experience.  My favorite songs from this album would be: Misery, Give a Little More, Stutter, Never Gonna Leave This Bed, Runaway, Last Chance, No Curtain Call and If I Ain't Got You (Live). I would have to say that my biggest disappointment would be the Hands All Over song. Choosing it to be their album title, i expected it to blow me out of my mind. But unfortunately it didn't. What i would like to have seen in this album would be some more collaborations with different artists. I think that might have increased the popularity of this album a bit.

My neutral rating for this album would be 7/10.
My personal rating 9/10.

Good Luck Maroon5, Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving

I want to wish you all a happy thanksgiving with all the people you love. I just want to take a moment and thank all the people that have been in my life, they have supported me in ways they do not know and i am very grateful for that.

Review: Na Na Na - My Chemical Romance

An alternative rock song from the band My Chemical Romance. The reason why i chose this song is because i really loved the message that it sends "Fight for what you believe in, and don't be afraid to die for it". Everyone wants to believe in something, and he/she must be able to stand up for these beliefs. I give this song an 8/10.
